Our approach to protecting young people using U‑Clic from Year 8 onwards.
Privacy-first defaults
Nothing on a young person's profile is public. Sharing requires a deliberate action, and school-supported records are clearly attributed to the issuing school.
Adult access
Access by school staff, parents and carers is permission-based, recorded, and limited to what is needed for their role.
Reporting concerns
Concerns can be reported in-product and are routed to a named contact. Schools retain their own safeguarding responsibilities and policies.
